DR. JASON GAMBILL

BOARD CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC DENTIST

Jason Gambill, DDS is a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas. After receiving his undergraduate from Arkansas State University, Dr. Gambill went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee and graduated with honors. During his time at UT, he served as the president of the American Student Dental Association and the Xi Psi Phi dental society. After graduation, Dr. Gambill moved to Denver, Colorado where he completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

In addition to his Doctorates in Dental Surgery, Dr. Gambill is proud to be a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Being Board Certified means that Dr. Gambill has voluntarily completed additional training and examinations in order to advance his knowledge and skills in caring for pediatric patients. The certification highlights Dr. Gambill’s commitment to his patients and his passion for providing each child with the best care possible.

Dr. Gambill is married to his high school sweetheart Jessica, and is a father of three boys, Ephraim, Shepherd, and Jasper and a little girl, Imogene. He is an active member in his church and enjoys giving back through community service. When he’s not at the office, Dr. Gambill enjoys running and cycling to prepare for competing in triathlons. He also loves spending time at the lake with his family.

DR. CARSON CRUISE

BOARD ELIGIBLE PEDIATRIC DENTIST

Carson Cruise, DMD hails from Natchez, Mississippi.  He received his undergraduate from Mississippi State University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) School of Dentistry.  Dr. Cruise served on the Student Ethics Council for all four years of dental school and was president of the council his senior year.  After completing dental school, Dr. Cruise continued to pursue his passion and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at UMMC where he received additional training in working with patients with special health care needs, dento-facial trauma, and hospital dentistry. 

Following his AEGD, Dr. Cruise moved to Richmond, Virginia where he completed his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, serving as Chief Resident for his final year.

In addition to his extensive education, Dr. Cruise is proud to be Board Eligible. This means he is on the path to being a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Cruise has voluntarily completed extensive training and will take his oral examination this fall to demonstrate his advanced knowledge and skills in the care of pediatric patients. It is an accomplishment that highlights Dr. Cruise’s dedication to providing exceptional care to his young patients through his commitment to lifelong learning.

When he’s not making his young patients smile and doling out crisp high fives at the office, Dr. Cruise and his wife, Laura, enjoy country living.  They have American Quarter horses, registered Brahman cattle, and honey bees on their working farm.  They are also glad to be active in their church, where they serve as mentor-leaders for the youth group.

DR. ADAM BENNETT

BOARD ELIGIBLE PEDIATRIC DENTIST

Growing up in northern Arkansas, Adam Bennett, DDS spent his summers in high school and college as an instructor at sports clinics and working as a counselor at Kanakuk sports camps. These summer experiences helped shape his passion for making children smile and empowering them to make healthy choices.

Dr. Bennett attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. Here his hard work and good grades did not go unnoticed, and Dr. Bennett was granted early admission and a scholarship to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.  It was during dental school that Dr. Bennett’s instructors noticed his gift for working with kids, and he found himself enjoying the challenge and fun of the pediatric appointment.

After graduation, Dr. Bennett chose to pursue his passion for helping children by continuing his dental training and completing an advanced education in pediatric dentistry from New York University. During the program, Dr. Bennett served in a community health center where he worked exclusively with children. There he was able to help children from diverse backgrounds and gained valuable experience in preventative and restorative dentistry, as well as sedation and hospital dentistry.

When Dr. Bennett is not in the office, he enjoys physical activities like weightlifting, golf and tennis as well as outdoor activities like fishing and camping. Dr. Bennett is also a self-proclaimed “nerd” and you may catch him talking to your child about video games like Minecraft or Fortnite during their appointments. Dr. Bennett, his wife Katie, and their fur baby, Cache, are very excited to be a part of the Shreveport community and Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport-Bossier team.

DR. BRIAN STEELE

BOARD CERTIFIED PEDIATRIC DENTIST

Born and raised in the Ark-La-Tex, Brian Steele, DDS, MSD received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, TX and continued his education to receive his pediatric specialty residency and Master of Science degree at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Houston. Eager to further his education and build on the experiences he had at the children’s hospital, Dr. Steele moved to New York City where he completed a residency in anesthesiology and served as chief resident of the dental anesthesia residency.

Dr. Brian Steele is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD), the American Dental Board of Dental Anesthesiology (ADBA) and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA). He also stays actively involved with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry where he serves on the sedation and anesthesia committee.

Dentistry runs in the Steele family, and Dr. Steele’s wife, Lainey, is a dental hygienist from Memphis Tennessee. The couple is blessed with three beautiful girls, Brooklyn, Lucy and Kennedy. In addition to flossing (teeth, not necessarily the dance), family is very important to the Steeles. They love spending time together, outdoors, swimming and being actively involved with their church. Dr. Steele enjoys running, sports and donating time on medical mission trips.  His favorite thing about being a pediatric dentist at Pediatric Dentistry of Shreveport/Bossier City/Natchitoches is the lifelong impact he gets to have on a child by providing a positive experience and a smile.
